Care and maintenance

For spills, remove as much moisture as possible by dabbing and blotting immediately using a clean white cloth or kitchen towel, working from the outside in. Never rub the affected area as this can disperse the stain and damage the pile. If a stain is present after all moisture is removed, a professional cleaning company would be suggested.

Regular vacuuming is recommended to keep your rug clean, this will also help prevent the build up of dirt which could filter down into the rug causing premature wear. A suction only vacuum is recommended and additional care should be taken when vacuuming over the whipped edges so as to not loosen the fibres which could cause unravelling.

Viscose fibres are particularly susceptible to staining, extra care should be taken to avoid spillages on rugs containing these elements.
